About Cradlewell

A Doula's Story, From First Birth to Yours

Inspired by her own birth experience and a love of connecting with others, our founder was drawn to creating a space that makes birth education honest, calm, and clear — so first-time parents know what to expect on the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ What is a virtual doula?

A virtual doula supports you entirely online — through video visits, messaging, and on-call guidance during labour. You get the same education, reassurance, and advocacy planning as in-person care, from wherever you are.

+ What is included in the online courses?

Every course includes self-paced video lessons, downloadable workbooks, checklists, and a birth plan template. The signature course adds six guided modules plus lifetime access to all future updates.

+ Do I need childbirth education?

If you want to walk into birth understanding your options — interventions, pain relief, hospital routines, and the first hours with baby — education makes a measurable difference. Most families start in the second trimester.

+ When should we begin working together?

Anytime. Many families book virtual support around week 20 and start the course in the second trimester, but we regularly support parents who find us in week 36 and beyond.
